bio

nadahada is the artistic collaboration between Juliana Fadil-Luchkiw (b. New York) and María Paz Valenzuela Silva (b. Chile). It emerged in 2014 from an undergraduate class at The New School in New York City. nadahada pieces together a trans-feminist, queer migrant eco-collage through an interdisciplinary praxis that performs non-surgical forms of cultural castration with digital technologies, trash, and yarn. They have exhibited and performed at sites such as MoCA North Miami; Gallatin Gallery, Kimmel Galleries at NYU, Parsons School of Design, Secret Project Robot in NYC; Icebox Project Space in Philadelphia; Mudlark Public Theatre in New Orleans; Cosmiko Galeria in La Plata, Argentina; and many streets, parks, and subways.
