nadahada is the artistic collaboration between Juliana Fadil-Luchkiw (b. New York) and María Valenzuela Silva (b. Chile). It emerged in 2014 from an undergraduate class at The New School in New York City. nadahada pieces together a trans-feminist, queer migrant eco-collage through an interdisciplinary praxis that performs non-surgical forms of cultural castration with digital technologies, trash, and yarn. They have exhibited and performed at sites such as MoCA North Miami and the Satellite Art Show as part of Miami Art Week; Gallatin Galleries at NYU and Parsons School of Design in NYC; Icebox Project Space in Philadelphia; Mudlark Public Theatre in New Orleans; Cosmiko Galeria in La Plata, Argentina; and many streets, parks, and subways.
